Popeyes Outdoor Digital Menu Design
Client: Popeyes
My Role: UI Designer
The team consisted of an Art Director, a QSR expert, a UI designer and a UX designer. We worked together to form a strategy and a basic framework, then worked with the Popeyes team to specific design decision and implementation.
My main objectives were consistency with the Popeyes brand, best in class visuals, as this was a very well known business, and design modularity/customization options.
I worked through basic layouts, color options, visual research, mockups (low and high fidelity), and prototypes.
The Problem
The existing menu boards were static, cluttered, and inconsistent across locations. Customers struggled to quickly scan options, and promotions often went unnoticed, slowing down decision-making at the drive-thru.
The Design
Redesigned the menu experience into a modular digital system with a clear hierarchy and simplified categories. Built flexible components that allowed franchise owners to easily swap in limited-time offers and highlight promotions without breaking consistency.
The Impact
Created a more intuitive and adaptable ordering experience that reduced customer scan time and increased visibility of promotional items, supporting faster service and stronger sales opportunities across locations.
