TD Ameritrade Education Redesign

As the lone designer I was tasked with designing this new experience from concept to completion. This included research and discovery, competitive audits, wireframes, varying levels of mockups, prototypes and final deliverables.

This was all done under a tight deadline and with limited resources. I needed to be resourceful in how I used my time and who I worked with to make sure I got the right answers and kept the project moving.

The Problem

The education portal on tdameritrade.com was outdated, difficult to navigate, and overwhelming for new investors, making it hard for users to find relevant learning resources.

The Design

Redesigned the portal with a simplified structure, updated visual language, and clear content hierarchy. Created wireframes, prototypes, and final UI that made learning paths more intuitive and approachable.

The Impact

Improved accessibility and usability for thousands of users. The redesign made investing education easier to discover and engage with, helping clients gain confidence and encouraging deeper use of the platform.
